How to Justify Antisocial Behaviour
Teenagers. Nothing can satisfy us more than sitting at home alone in our underwear watching Netflix. Even when I don't feel like being lazy I can get on my bike, put my headphones in, and ride for hours without even thinking about what my friends are up to. Lame right? I would rather have my bike and good music than friends. Nope. The fact that we like to unwind and just be alone sometimes isn't antisocial behavior, it's just a way to relax and delve deeply into our own thoughts. It's a time when anyone can think about whatever they want, do whatever they want, and act however they want. It's freedom in the truest sense of the word. There is no pressure to fit in, to walk or talk a certain way, or to do something you don't want to. It's literally just you being you. No shame in that. Obviously after a while everybody goes back to hanging out with their friends and that's great! Being alone all the time would be boring. My advice is try to act as much like you would alone with your friends. In the end that's how you want to act anyways so why try to hide it? If your friends don't accept it what kind of friends are they? Hell, maybe they're holding back just as much as you are! Thanks for reading and have a great night.
Why Are We Afraid Of The Dark?
From the beginning of time humans have feared the dark. An instinctive feeling that there is something lurking in the shadows. Of course nowadays most people don't have to worry about what lurks in the shadows, but why do we still feel afraid? We don't have to worry about something coming from under our bed or our closet but there is always a feeling. What hides in the darkness? I bring up this point because a close friend of mine recently took her own life. I didn't see it coming and I doubt anyone else did. After the initial shock of hearing about her and the few days it took for me to get over the fact that i'm never going to see her again I started to think, what now? What happens after? The theoretical darkness in this situation being the so called afterlife. Much like nobody really knows what hides in the darkness nobody knows what happens after death. Everybody has their own opinion or faith but just like the fear of the dark even if we think we know what there is in the darkness we all have that little spark. The spark of fear and doubt. What if it isn't what we expected? What if we're wrong? What happened to my friend?
In the end there is no telling what happens. No sure fire answer. But no matter how afraid I am of the dark I also have a small glimmer of hope. Hope that beyond the darkness there is light. Not trying to be all religious about this post but it's my true feelings. I want to believe in Heaven. It's better than going through life thinking everybody that left me is gone forever, lost to the darkness. Whatever the case the best we can hope for is that there is a light at the end of the darkness and that we will live forever in Heaven. Until then, have fun pondering the darkness!

Starting Up
Lets get this started up right. Introductions; I'm an 18 kid from Wisconsin who recently graduated high school. I'm afraid that's all I have to say. Nothing too spectacular about be. Especially in school (you'll realize that the more you read.) I have a few good stories but nothing too news worthy. Absolutely ordinary I guess you could call me. The reason I decided I should put my thoughts into a word document and share them with the world is everybody has so many ideas, philosophies, morals, and ideals that they just bottle up and let them sit there. This is my way of sharing my own thoughts with you. Thanks for reading and enjoy!
